How well does Advantix work in keeping ticks off my dog?
This question is a little bit harder to answer than how well does it keep fleas off, as fleas are much more common that ticks. As far as we have seen there hasn't been a case where we have sold Advantix to someone and they have come back and said there dog has gotten a tick. If I was to take my dog to a high tick area I would use Advantix before any other method, as it is highly trusted by vets and dog experts.

Advantix didnt work for fleas for a full month?
This can be for a number of reasons. The main reasons would be if you have a really bad flea problem it is not working as strong at the end of the month as it does at the start, so although it is still working some what it is not enough to stop the large amount of fleas. If this is the case you will want to re-apply every 2 weeks while the fleas are bad. Another reason is that it takes up to a year to stop the flea cycle on your pet. This means that treating your dog the full year instead of just the hot months when fleas are worse will make it more effective when flea season is on. Most people don't have an extreme case of fleas and wont have to worry about it lasting less than a month.
